Sound lives between force and stillness: in the breath of the flute, the resonance of the drum, and the people gathered around both.

A Hawai‘i-based trio bringing taiko, shinobue, shamisen, and voice into one vivid conversation.
太鼓、篠笛、三味線、唄が鮮やかに交わる、ハワイ発のトリオ。
Formed with Anju Madoka and Michael Gonhata, MikAnS reimagines Japanese folk repertoire through contemporary arrangement, movement, and improvisation.
